Support Utopidy

Utopidy is independently created, operated, and funded.

There are no advertisements here. There is no corporate sponsor shaping what I write, no investor expecting a return, and no algorithm deciding which subjects are safe or profitable enough to discuss.

That independence matters—especially when the work involves addiction, recovery, mental illness, homelessness, suicide, life on the streets, and other subjects that are often simplified, sanitized, or ignored.

Supporting Utopidy helps cover the practical costs of keeping it alive: hosting, equipment, software, music, repairs, transportation, and the many small expenses involved in creating useful work consistently.

Ways You Can Help

Share the Work

Sending an article, video, or piece of music to someone who may connect with it is one of the most meaningful ways to help. Utopidy is just getting started, and every genuine recommendation matters.

Participate

Thoughtful comments, personal experiences, corrections, and constructive disagreement are welcome. Utopidy is intended to become more than a place where one person speaks and everyone else listens.

Support Financially

Financial contributions help keep the site independent and make future projects possible. Contributions are voluntary, and the main content on Utopidy will remain freely available. No paywalls here.

What Support Makes Possible

Support may help fund:

  • Website and email services
  • Audio and video production
  • Music equipment and instrument maintenance
  • Transportation for performances, interviews, and outreach
  • Research and development of future tools and resources
  • The time required to write, record, edit, and publish meaningful work

No Obligation

Please do not contribute money you need for food, housing, medication, transportation, or other essentials.

Reading, sharing, participating, and simply being here are also forms of support.

Thank you for helping Utopidy grow!
